What an exciting and busy half term the children have had!
In English, we have been listening to the story of Eddie’s Garden. This has enabled the children to use ‘Bossy Verbs’ to write instructions on how to plant a sunflower or vegetable.
In Maths, we have been adding numbers using the strategy of ‘think 10’ and ‘think 15’.
Through our new RE topic on ‘Meals’ the children have been learning about the last meal that Jesus shared with his Disciples. We used role-play to help us retell the story.

The children have enjoyed designing and making their mobiles whilst learning about the artist César Manrique.  Some children have not quite finished but I am sure you will agree they are amazing. There will be more photos to follow.

The children thoroughly enjoyed the ‘Living the Dream’ dance experience today and were full of enthusiasm for the grand finale.

The children have worked very hard this half term so I am sure they are all ready for a well-earned break. Happy holidays!
