Hello Year 1
It has been lovely that many of you have shared your amazing work with us this week. We have enjoyed seeing the variety of home learning activities that you have completed and it is clear you are all working very hard - well done!

Alice and Isla have created fab pictures of fruits containing seeds

Edward has been drawing the parts of the body and has enjoyed drawing with with Rob Bidulph
Fun Science investigations
Ralph M made a fabulous volcano out of plaster and has been making explosions. Luckily, there were no casualties!
Henry B enjoyed the Harry Potter writing task this week and has been finding verbs in the sentences
Olivia was able to identify verbs in her sentences as well
William has written an amazing non-fiction book about the Amazon Rainforest
Ralph M has written some brilliant facts about volcanoes

To celebrate VE Day Edward and Ted have been creating wonderful timelines of the last 100 years
The ‘Month of Mary’ Art competition closes next Friday 15th May.

Move over Joe Wicks - Mr Simmonds has set his own daily PE challenge for you on Twitter. If you would like to take up the challenge then ask your parents to show you where this can be found on the computer.
